@SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo eh, im not married to any of them, as I prefer plain makefiles and using languages that werent designed to need an entire distro to support its dependencies

but even as a user building stuff, autotools makes my blood boil.

anyway, the issue i was talking abt is a mess of python, typescript, and rust for a desktop application. can you guess which language doesnt actually end up contributing anything to the binary and is just used for the most deranged diy-build system that ive seen? like fuck it dude i'd take autotools over this even
