   I am not saying that only recently is when weird stuff has happened, or that "real" conspiracies are new, or that denial of reality is new. I'm not even saying the "the truer it is the more likely they'll just never speak of it" is new, that has aways been true, I saw it happen a long time ago. But it's happening more frequently and faster than any time I can remember, and the complete ease with which you can cite facts online has made others' denial of reality more stark when they literally just turn their head and won't even read.

     The amount of absolutely shortsighted shit that backfires immediately and mask off moments in the last few years has kinda been insane, then along with leaks that pretty much just goes and confirm what everyone knew was happening but would get labeled as "conspiracy theories"
     
     It seems like the regime is getting increasingly short sighted, increasingly slipping up, increasingly stupid and etc.

     Also social movements being engineered and backfiring hard faster than ever.
     
     I saw some schizopost that said the last WEF meeting was a trashfire because it had two crowds competing. First there's the older boomers who realized that the best way to force social change (desegregation, women's rights, "green causes", etc.) is slowly over time and in the case of the former it took a lot of people being led at gunpoint to integrate schools (before the rich people just went to religious schools to explicitly avoid it, such as Jewish or Christian schools).
     
     Then there's the younger generation who feels that it better happen now and has at warp speed forced social causes. I'm talking like the LGBT issue, EVs/public transit fetishism, the climate change laws targeting farmers leading to farmer protests in Europe, and whatnot. The boomers really hate this crowd because the boomers knew how to get shift how white people saw minorities from "This guy had to have done it lynch him" or "they're retards lol" to apologizing to/making excuses for the person who killed your kid. They were really really good at social engineering.
     
     Look at the transgender movement having so many scandals linked to it in the past few months from both individual members or targeting people with huge fanbases.

     @sargoysmuck @coolboymew Nothing as consequential, he was doing a show about an old news story where some women were sharing an unvetted list of "creeps in the advertisign industry" which was a legit story, but he found a copy of the list online and was reading it on his show, but the copy he found was a fake humorous copy that someone made full of intentionally as silly as possible accusations, and he was reporting them as fact. I got in early on his video and reported to him that the list was completely fake but he ignored it.
