   Interesting clip from a sam hyde stream where someone pisses him off by asking if he’s a “free speech absolutist” and he vents the accumulated irritation at this dude….who also happens to be one of the top stream donors to the tune of 4 figs a month.

   Sam’s not wrong though, just poorly articulating his frustration. Sure, you can hang your hat on “HEY MAN I TELL IT LIKE IT IS” but you’ll close off a lot of opportunities in life, and unless you have a patron backing you (mommy & dadd, trust fund, etc) you’re gonna have to find the right time and occasion to say what you want.

     Now imagine hyde, a guy with a huge target on his back already, who’s finally giving in and coming back to youtube after years of taking that same no-skin-in-the-game group at their word when they say gumroad and alt-sites can support him. He’s tried it out and it didn’t work.

     Now, the same guys who’ve never run a business, never stressed about making payroll, and never even been a net tax payer are telling him to let them shit up the TTS and scare away all the contestants 2 days into a 2-month project.

     His fanbase is still too dang autistic and inexperienced. They love saying stupid stuff like “who cares man just let people say what they want!!!!! If they ban you from card processors, just use crypto lol!!!!“

     It’s so painful to hear, because it’s like a boomer saying “just get a job w/ benefits, dummy!”. Sure, you CAN accept crypto, but you’re cutting off about 97% of the money you would otherwise get from your prospective customers. It’s just how things work in the real world. You can’t project your own silly, 10-step buying process on people who have lives, jobs, and families. You need to make the sale as easy and trouble-free as possible.

     I get why he’s pissed (also he’s on TRT so that doesn’t help). It’s probably aggravating to try and get people to learn from your own screwups but feel like you’re talking to a group of eternal 17 year-olds stuck in 2015

     If someone can make good stuff, they probably have talent enough to succeed elsewhere. As an audience you have to bid for their time. If people want MDE too, it’s not at all unreasonable for him to demand more money than a Wendy’s franchise owner in small town america.

     And I don’t think his brand is profitable until the last year or so. He’s given it a very good try, taking all this advice to “get off youtube man, go on Xykksy.ru it doesn’t CENSOR you”. He didn’t make that much from it. From the bits I gather, the bulk of his money comes from striking it rich on crypto. But as far as actual earnings go? Dude he made nothing from his show. I think that one guy didn’t even get $2,000 for his time.

     His fanbase literally jokes about how five bucks a month is “aw geez doooooood” too expensive. Sam Hyde fans are super cheap, and evidently very happy to be washed up losers in their 30’s. I get why he’s on edge. It’s like coming back to your hometown and having your burnout friends from high school grabbing at your heels because they don’t like how you grew up and got a real career. They think you belong on the Bk night shift just like them.

     Right now, (if this tool is correct) the channel is bringing in $230,000 a year. That’s not a lot of money.

     Take 30% right off the bat, that’s youtube’s cut.

     Then take another 30-40% for taxes.

     Oh, and make payroll for those underpaid zoomers he has on hand.

     Nigger he’s underpaid if this is how much he’s earning. Divide this in half or more, I’d bet nick’s streams are sweeping the floor with his. The fact you think all this is rich-people money is wild to me. I routinely see people making VERY good money, it’s much more common than you would think if you’re hanging around in the average dirtbag end of the economy. The idea that it’s so unrighteous to want to make more than a middle-upper class professional is a very young - or very underemployed - way of looking at the world.

     When Sam Hyde rages on these guys, it's just sad. He'll squeeze their money out of them because he knows he has a hold on their minds. Sam Hyde is like the cool dad these kids never had, and Sam takes advantage of that. Sam takes advantage of these kids. The money they spend on superchats should be put into a savings account, but Sam would not tell them that. He wants to get rich, like Nick does. They are blue-blood Yankees who have the same mercantile values as the elites they want to oppose... Maybe. They don't have quite the same values.

The superchatter just wants Sam's attention. He's never studied the free speech question, and neither has Sam. Sam's like a dad to these kids and he takes advantage of it for money. He's on TRT like you said so he flips out on them. If Sam took on some other role where he lived more virtuously and did not facilitate these relationships, it would not make him a loser - You suggested that not making money would mean he stays a loser forever, but you probably just threw that out there as a bit of rhetoric.
     
     The only reason I'm replying and taking this post off track is because I'm totally unimpressed by Sam taking advantage of people with his shitty NFT project and blowing the money on the Porsche and then seeing a man like yourself look at it like it's any better than what our elites do. I'm not gonna let Sam run his game on us abandoned white boys out here trying to feel something real. I'm going to hang out with my family, my friends, and save my $25 USD for a college fund for my children. The guy is a blue-blood Yankee shiester.      @node I get where you’re coming from, and you’re really overstating my affections for the man. I’m using him as an example of a phenomenon I see a lot in young men today.

     We don’t have many places to point to this dynamic of self-important, high-minded guys who think they’re living an ascetic, enlightened life when they’re really just wasting their life as an underemployed bachelor.

     I don’t really like any of the streamer economy, but it’s background noise at work and there’s very little inoffensive entertainment these days. We’re never going to get good role models in this sector, because successful guys wil actual lives don’t have any reason to blow that up with streaming. We’ll get nothing but court jesters, and that’s it. It’s just a tiny bit heartening that at least one gives a little bit of lip service to lead them closer to a road that will diverge from his fanbase.

     @node I don’t mean to bite your head off, I just see this attitude a lot, then go to work and see wealthy libshits hand-wave it as “oh, that’s not very much” when I tell them a tiny plane mod will cost them $20,000 out of pocket. I’m constantly seeing people drop hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars without issue, then looking at my group chat to see my friends talking about making $1,500 on craigslist.

     We need to widen our measures of success, we can’t live like rats forever. A lot of the reason all these white guys don’t have families is because they don’t have money. We as a group need to get over this silly asceticism - there’s no inherent righteousness in poverty. I want us being hungry and ambitious so we can provide for our wives and children. Money is the only thing you can rely on for freedom as things stand today.

     Sadly the whole crypto scene is so fixated on the etherium token pyramid schemes that there's no easy way to actually use it as currency. Yes you can do wallet to wallet transfers, but its cumbersome for the average normie who just wants to send $5 dollars to his favorite eceleb so he can say "total nigger death" or something. I know of one guy (sadly a groyper) who actually put his money where his mouth was and made a monero stream donations program. I think he might've dropped the project but at one point Luke Smith used it for his livestreams.
     Now which one of these "just use crypto LOL" people are willing to spend a few weekends making a piss easy to use crypto live stream donations program? Which one is gonna donate their free time for the betterment of this whole community?
     All this talk about "crypto is the future" and yet no actual applications. The potential is just sitting there...

     @bronze Because the onramping sucks, and the demographic of person that is hungry for e-celeb approval and willing to pay for chats is too dumb to reliably make the multistep transition. In the end you need a payment processor to put it on a card anyway.

     There’s a metric as to how much of your customer base falls away with every additional task during checkout. I think you need to make it take less than 2 pages, 2 steps, or else you start cutting off your sales by a not-insignificant percentage each time.

     @hogankhan @node A lot of the most successful people I consistently see are guys that grew. Real estate landlords that just kept expanding. Guys that bought a successful franchise and kept buying more. (Evidently you can even make a name for yourself as a good place to eat, even if the greater brand sucks, though I doubt) I’ve worked with clients that invented retarded baubles that got bought out by giant names, and people who came up with obscure internet operations that made more money than you’d think possible in their area.

     There’s still the workaday types that make good money, but many need certifications and experience. Guys like orthodontists, pilots, defense nerds (who enlisted and left w/ a clearance), and consultants are usually the guys I meet who make $250-500k per year. But we see a lot of funky on-demand specialists out there on the road, too. Seen panicked midnight phone calls promise a $12,000 on-demand fee to get an experienced troubleshooter out to a jet when it needs to be up and running ASAP.

     There’s a lot of money flowing in places we don’t see on the surface. I think our schools hobble kids by preventing exposure to the breadth of careers we have in the world today. A whole lot of them are totally unknowable until you get to talking with the guy doing it.

     I know it was mentioned during the last falling out between him and Charls that one of the things that got him into hot water with AS was his infamous subreddit. They did in fact warn him to shut down his sub and disassociate himself with the tards he didn't wrangle if he wanted to keep the show.
     
     So of course hes going to wrangle his tards to not lose the comeback since idubbz and essentially hiring a clip channel.

     Those successful types took a risk. As you note, it is in a wide range of areas that they hit the jackpot. Sort of random. It is up to chance that they made it. Had things gone a little differently they might have gone bankrupt.
     
     Bezos got rich off of Amazon because he got the timing just right. Not too early when the Internet was obscure, but right as it was getting popular so Amazon took of with it. Had he come up with Amazon a little earlier or later, it could have been a bust.
     
     Bezos got his initial funding from friends and family. That's what we need if we are going to support these potential millionaires and billionaires on our side.
     
     I'm less concerned about them for now and more of creating a sturdy foundation of guys who make decent (but not spectacular) wages. These are the masses that can bankroll those future millionaires and billionaires.

     If you’re able to come off as likeable and competent while working hard you can still charm your way into a measure of success. I see much dumber people doing it every day. A competent white man should be able to do it, too.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @hogankhan @node A small chime in on this point; I think the higher risk aversion, amongst other things, is a flagging support structure by which to take risks. Zoomers moving into the workforce with already kind of old Xer parents can't even really rely on them to back them up/support them for their initial risk. The consequences of a risk taken today are much more severe than an equivalent risk taken in the past as the path to recovering from the losses incurred is much more treacherous, especially without help.

     @hogankhan @WashedOutGundamPilot @node If you know how to talk, I'd say sales. It'll get you used to taking risks and if you move into a product that is pricey/high volume/used by a large service provider, the ceiling for pay is very high (usually because of a comp cap or something similar)

     I was just asking for recommendations for careers and side jobs for guys to start out with a profitable profession. One could go the extra mile and try to make it big later.

     @hogankhan @Agartha_Noble @node People mock working for someone but some of the freest wealthy guys I know just have high-level careers they can park and walk away from. The captains I know fly maybe half the month and don’t think about their job at all the second they connect the air stair. That’s a QoL thing you don’t get working for yourself. I’ve done both sides, and I actually prefer working for someone competent to striking out alone.

     Lots more stressful when you’re the chief, and it paints every minute of free time with “Oh shit why am I doing this? I could be working and making money right now I have so much to do…..”

     Before you know it your 15 yo daughter accidentally drops her testosterone HRT at breakfast because you were never there to parent her

     Complain about everything. Refuse to pay to support them.
     
     Molineux isn't even remotely a Nazi, and he got kicked off the mainstream. Once he got kicked off YouTube, he vanished. Hardly anyone supports him anymore.
     
     Sam Hyde likewise isn't even remotely a Nazi, and he lost his Adult Swim show, and received not a whole lot of support on his other ventures, compared to less "controversial" comedians.
     
     If someone has the burning ambition to make an earthshattering new technology or business concept, why the fuck would they have anything to do with us? We're a bunch of broke-ass loser spergy retards.

     You will always have a boss.
     
     You will always have to answer to the IRS, certification boards, the beliefs and customs of the times, etc etc.
     
     You don't get to "check out of society" just by becoming your own boss. Sure, as a wage worker your boss can fire you for wrong think, but even if you work for yourself the government and private companies can still "fire" you by cancelling your bank accounts, trashing your reputation, and banning you from venues and social media.
     
     There is no easy solution which is why Whites have to work together.
