Before you laugh, ask yourself how much of YOU can be seen in her here. She’s reflection of many of us dudes at 28.
So many of us stumble around, jumping from one quick-fix after another, never really taking true control over life. Sure, most of us aren’t taught how to use our own agency aside from “follow your passion“ or “you can be ANYTHING you set your mind to!!!!*” but at the very least men have a robust internal compass that can help us navigate life even bereft of companionship, support, or external guidance.
But Women are even worse off, not equipped with that same grit and self-determination that we have. But society pretends they do, their mentors, teachers, and mothers (fathers, in the rare instances they’re around) expect them to show the same level-headedness of a guy tossed out on his own. So they throw their daughters to the pirhanas of life, expecting them to find happiness alone and vulnerable.
This society cannot stand. People like this simply can’t support a world on their shoulders.
