@sjw@coolboymew They're not really as dangerous as they look like, basically stay a few centimeters away from it and you'll be fine. Tbh it's more of a fire hazard (if the switch stays stuck after you stop the water flow) than a shock hazard.
@PapaPole@sjw@coolboymew I'm just guessing here but I imagine for start that tap water in these places is already pretty warm so with a low enough flow you can get a nicely warm water, also when it's, say, 35C outside you don't really want the kind of hot shower water you might be thinking about. As for why not proper tankless heaters, idk I guess this shit is 'good enough' for a lot of people
@shitpisscum@sjw@coolboymew if you have enough electricity to heat the water as it flows why not buy a real tankless hot water heater? i dont believe that rinky dink thing can do more than add an extra degree or two from the pipe temperature. looks like a scam
