   @madison I’ve watched spice and wolf, apothecary diaries, and violet evergarden. original slice and wolf series is very good. Apothecary diaries is also very good. I watched both of those dubbed and thought the dub was good. Very fun. Spice and wolf made me nostalgic for something I don’t know

     @Turdicus @madison @Twoinchdestroya I had a similar feeling about wanting to rewatch the original. The new spice and wolf actually handled the story pretty well, but it lacks the atmosphere of the original. I think the change in art and music were a big part of that.

     @madison @Twoinchdestroya spice and wolf left such a weird impression on me last year that I was considering watching the first season again

     @Twoinchdestroya @madison diaries was just a very cool story and had a really fun mystery of the week vibe for the first half of the series while still being plot relevant. just a very good first season that felt like it properly concluded but still had more to tell you about

     @Twoinchdestroya @madison the anime felt like it began to allude to that type of thing but didn’t really throw it out there in full yet to not overwhelm the audience. a good choice I think
