GameStop falsely labeled new copies of that game as used, simply so that they could sell it at a higher price, because Nintendo of America were fucking retards and demand for that game in the US FAR exceeded the supply.

     @ChristiJunior @SuperDicq @Nelenese @coolboymew it only came to the US after NoE localised it because NoA thought it wouldn't be worth it

     @aetios @SuperDicq @Nelenese @coolboymew And after it sold pretty well in Europe (certainly way above expectations). NoA was always the big villain of that story, them making Xenoblade 1 a GameStop Exclusive in the US was just the cherry on top.
