     @dielan @NonPlayableClown @raccoon @snacks Ha, I didn't have the built-in VCR, it was a regular one, like 28" or something, but you remember at the time, like, woot.com had the "one thing per day" and these massive Philips LCD TVs showed up one day and I thought, "Damn...I could read the text in MGS4."
     
     (I didn't give a damn about broadcast TV changing over except what the FCC did with that slice of the spectrum.)

     @zero @NonPlayableClown @raccoon @dielan It legit looks better than most $current_year games. We've got a supercomputer sitting under the TV and it's rare that all that power goes into something that looks unique.

     I played on DS... though these were GBA games in Japan.
     I did buy the whale story DLC for the 3ds title.
     
     I am playing through again on the playstation remakes
