@happypirate @Some_German_Guy what's going to happen is they'll start using the chatbot to assess the resumes and cover letters too, which will select for what it thinks a resume or cover letter should be
and then you'll have to use it, or get dropped
-
@deprecated_ii @Some_German_Guy @happypirate they do this already but with keywords
My family still believes the old ways and what color is your parachute which is why my brother has an engineering degree and is unemployed
-
@deprecated_ii i foresee the chatbots will make people lazier and dumper then ever.
-
@Some_German_Guy @deprecated_ii to be fair, with cover letters and CVs/resumes and shit, they aren't even read by hue-manz until several steps into the hiring process. They're processed entirely by keyword scoring. Why anyone should spend days and days writing manicured and custom tailored corporate garbage for each gig they apply to when in all likelihood they are simply running the docs through a keyword search is beyond me.

@PhenomX6 @deprecated_ii @happypirate to be fair, of the hundreds of resumes ive send out in my life, only one ever lead to something.
every other job i did, came from asking the right person if he needs a extra pair of hands.
no idea how well that will work for a engineer though.
-
@Some_German_Guy @deprecated_ii @happypirate too bad I don't know the right person 💀
Time to learn to code and get my dick sucked on shithub
-
@PhenomX6 @deprecated_ii @happypirate neither did i, i just asked whenever i had the opportunity.
every once in a while it worked, and those jobs were the best ones ive ever had.
hell, i worked in a workshop that builds costumes, backdrops and gear for medieval festivals for a year for free just because the job interested me and i would get free shit every so often.
another one was as stage hand in a classical concert hall.
there is a lot of labor that needs doing, and a lot of it does not use job centers.
