Non-free drivers though, my point was I don't know if System76 ships coreboot with free wifi cards or not.
Granted, I'd prefer ME_cleaner + coreboot even with a non-free wifi card, but ideally you'd have both.-

The driver is in the mainline kernel. What is always the problem is the firmware for them. Basically every WiFi SoC that supports 5GHz has a firmware blob and the chip is completely nonfunctional without it. -
