The biblical standard for naturalization is 3 generations, along with coming from a friendly nation with a shared history. Maybe the US as a frontier nation early on benefitted from having a faster track to citizenship, but as a mature nation there's no good reason the US shouldn't have applied the same standard a while back. Even then, the founders only included white men of good character. The modern model of just crossing a border and filling out paperwork doesn't work. God is hammering this point home with the fact that the Mohammed al Carbomb who went off today was technically a natural-born citizen.

Mature nations open their borders to anyone and effectively eliminate citizenship in all but name. Look at rome, sir. 😏

Dying nations do that. I would've liked America to not fall in that category, but here we are.
