@zero oh well, I hate to admit bot was right but it seems to be even worse than pleroma. At least pleroma developers don't 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 to implement the broken shit they commit
@s8n@zero between the Gleason drama (and sore lack of rebased documentation which even people who like it hate), how getting to adminfe seems to be a pain on soapbox, and the "what can we break today" bullshit of ackoma I think I'm gonna just run pleroma with several fes on my server when I move domains and start over.
@s8n@PhenomX6@zero Lmfao, perhaps it was poorly worded. Dude, look at the abundance of IRC clients, that's because it's dead simple to implement. Literally ``` PRIVMSG #CHANNEL "message" ``` via telnet.
If you wanna use ActivityPub, you gotta fork something, implementing everything in ActivityPub takes fucking forever.
There are not a lot of options because of the commitment required to write and maintain ActivityPub capable softwares.
@PhenomX6@s8n@zero I know I keep saying this, but it's because ActivityPub is such a difficult to implement mess that we have these issues. Due to the fact that implementing ActivityPub from scratch is so time consuming, we have to deal with bloated soyware such as Mastodon, Pleroma, Soapbox/rebased and Misskey.
