I don’t know what kind of net worth he has but he’s had an outsized impact on the culture thanks to that education. It would have been worse if he’d been a plumber. I don’t hate plumbing, but we need more artists! And going to art school is okay! It’s even okay to go into debt to go to art school because it has positive side effects down the line that aren’t totally financial.
