   people will sneer at talking about stuff like test scores and yeah it's kinda gay but to a high achieving high school student who was told his entire life that this stuff was of critical importance for his future, to achieve results well into the 99th percentile and then be discarded is one hell of a betrayal and it's completely reasonable to be angry and resentful about it
   
   then you get assclowns like this who call being in about the 99.8th percentile "mid tier" like an 18 year old is supposed to have a bunch of *other* accomplishments too. where's your unicorn startup kid? you're not a millionaire already? you must be trash
