     is it just me or are our current economic conditions a major driving force for polycules, like nobody can afford to live on their own until they've landed a big job, so roommates are a must for them to pool resources, and it's not a big stretch to go "hey this world sucks, wanna drown our sorrows by fucking until 3am?" on repeat
     
     and to a lesser extent the innate human need to belong to something greater than your own self i guess
     
     still don't think the dishes get done in any of them though
