   I’ve seen that manga at the bookstore before and it just screams “an lgbt activist made this.” Doesn’t look anything like yuri, it’s indistinguishable from a western lgbt comic. It’s wild how when the tentacles of LGBT get a hold of a person they become so empty and hollow that all of their own culture is sucked out and replaced by a homogenized sludge and they become unable to make art anymore. All they can make is ugly things that make the world uglier.

     @SerfnUSA @hellhammer666 Specifically the LGBTQ+ movement. Japan historically hasn't had a problem with gay stuff, just their culture doesn't approve of going full attention-seeking prancing faggot. LGBTQ+ turns everything into a bland paste, even non-Christian societies that don't have a tradition of opposition to homosexuality.

     @ArdainianRight In Japan and China, before western reforms it was considered somewhat normalized for men to have same-sex lovers (less is known about women, but one can assume the same) it especially increased with status. Of course you still were expected to have children, but unless you were the emperor or something nobody really thought too much of it. However, being effeminate was strongly frowned upon. @SerfnUSA @hellhammer666

     @SerfnUSA @hellhammer666 There's a lot of different cultures and attitudes towards sexuality, but western LGBTQ+ forces all of those to fit into its ideology. It's incredibly culturally imperialistic in the worst way.

     @SerfnUSA @hellhammer666 There are a lot of ways for societies to deal with sexuality, but all the ones that last pretty consistently encourage bringing it back to its procreative purpose, even if a little action on the side is tolerated. When you completely sever the link between sex and procreation and go into a degenerate free-for-all shit goes downhill fast.

     Even rating the cover alone gives strong hints at the story being all about activism, which means it's driving people away from it.

     There's a difference though.
     Onimai has a character that is part of the greater comedy, and there's no "oppression" or any other politics in it, which is OK.
     
     LGBT activists on the other hand tend to be all about the character with barely any story telling if at all, and it's nothing but politics, which is NG.
     
     This is why there's 1 good Japanese TSF (there are many more, but for the sake of this post I'll keep it to 1) that people actually like, and thousands of garbage western TSFs that nobody wants.

     It should be allowed (cant control getting molested as a kid) but it should be seen as a vice equivalent to being an alcoholic or drug addict
