     We don't have safe neighborhoods or stable communities for our kids to play in, we can't support a family on a single income anymore, we don't have any of the familial or social supports we once did, so no shit if both parents are tired from work they're gonna use the iPad crutch. Personal responsibility matters, but we shouldn't pretend as if parents are exactly set up for success. Blaming individuals for larger social problems, then doubling down on the cause of said social problems is bullshit. Shitskins GTFO.

     @ArdainianRight @sun No, they are not set up for success, and the same people responsible for this situation are the same ones calling them losers. But iPad kids are going to get brainrotten hard and aren't gonna make it. These are our futures, their legacies, and parents have to be a little bit mindful of what they're doing, even if they're tired and bled dry by corpos.
     
     It's pretty telling that the answers the 2024 GOP has for fixing the birthrate isn't the return of the single income home, it's legal child marriage and abortion bans.

     @ArdainianRight @sun We need an emphatic rejection on the notion of the market-state. That's where it begins. We're not an employment agency, a shopping mall, or a theme park. We are a people with a history and a culture and we need to start celebrating that again.
