   @i Got an idea for hellthread spotcheck 2. Make two scripts: one is CGI that returns a modified object when someone fetches it, another is the one that signs and sends out an activity. In CGI script, apply some heuristics to determine which instance requests the object (easy enough if the fetch is signed, otherwise look up IP and/or useragent) and modify the `to` and `tags` fields to automatically tag everyone on requesting instance (if it's pleromer with HellthreadPolicy, tag only the last N active accounts). In the second script, populate fields the same way and send out an activity referencing this object to a bunch of instances. As people there reply to the post, it gets fetched by other instances, and so the fun spreads out.
