     @itsfoss@mastodon.social tbh it’s the year that I’m going to be pretty much full Linux and I often try and show people the unique and better ways of doing things… so who knows Linux could become the default with how bad windows has gotten

     Every year, it seems like something significant happens for the Linux desktop, leading to claims that the next year will be “the year of the Linux desktop.” In reality, the shift will likely happen gradually, through small but meaningful improvements that add up over time. Adoption will grow slowly but steadily. While Linux may not replace Windows or macOS entirely, and other systems will coexist, using Linux will eventually become a normal choice.
