@ArdainianRight The most disappointing aspect is BotW's TERRIBLE approach to music continuing. I guess it was to be expected tho, given how the BotW influence ruined Pokemon Legend Arceus's overworld soundtrack, and how it also hurt soundtracks in the likes of Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 3 to lesser extents.
@ArdainianRight That said, my currently rather low level of excitement does mean this is the first 3D Zelda since Ocarina of Time that might actually surpass my expectations, and I'll probably go into it pretty blind, which is usually an advantage.
@ChristiJunior@ArdainianRight It's not a bad track, but a little too in your face. Reminded me of the Hyrule castle theme. Not that there's any resemblance, just that I can already picture it getting old from repetition.
>a couple of piano keys occasionally being hesitantly pressed The texture and detail of the amazing BotW soundtrack reduced to that description. Zero appreciation for classical music. Literally less White than the Japs that put together that OST. Thanks for confirming sub-Saharan heritage. :theniggest :
@ChristiJunior@ArdainianRight Nigga, yes. By pure coincidence, I spent this morning listening to the BotW OST. I was gonna make a list of awesome themes, but it's pointless when pretty much everything is excellent.
If your complaint is that you don't have in-your-face music looping constantly while picking up mushrooms, I don't know what to say. :whitecat_wtf:
@Rasterman@ArdainianRight I dunno man, guess I just prefer to have stuff like this playing when exploring a massive, epic world, rather than a couple of piano keys occasionally being hesitantly pressed :smug13:
However, how much time in the game do you *actually* spend listening to songs like that, VS listening to babby trying out her mom's piano for the first time?
You're acting like Modern Pokemon Fans, defending something Inadequate, when there's no reason we couldn't enjoy True Greatness.
@ChristiJunior@ArdainianRight >However, how much time in the game do you *actually* spend listening to songs like The time when it's relevant to the context, as it should, lest they lose what makes them great by repetition.
*epic music* *Link is picking spicy peppers for cooking*

>babby trying out her mom's piano for the first time Objectively there must be not a single track like that.
I didn't realise I would have to defend Zelda today, when I can barely stand him as it is.
