     @lapin @VTArgyle She is very much a hag, Kasen spends her days wandering around lecturing people. She's also really old considering, y'know Ibaraki Douji, and always depicted with an older appearance. Her being a fake hermit and a big dork doesn't take away from that.

     @lapin @VTArgyle Fair :flan_smug2: , but Kasen inches into the territory. Or at least, for most she does. Much of her art is very much hag art. I think it's mostly due to being a hermit and acting like a nagging but caring parent towards Reimu. Also probably the sweet tooth. Sage thing took a while to actually be realized.
     Interesting how these things end up happening though. Small decisions or initial ideas about depictions end up sticking quite long even if they don't seem to fit as well with other character's depictions or even the character themselves (See: Hata no Kokoro having a very common depiction as a mature meaty slut simply because her initial appearances involve her emotionless expressions and dancing despite being a very young, full of emotions youkai who genuinely just wants to learn more about the world and preform noh plays).

     @lapin Not even joking for some reason it's become a popular depiction of Kokoro to make her a slutty pole dancer. It's also popular for it to involve hypnosis rape earnings too. It's sad.
     Simply victim to the free going nature of doujin works, as many people end up pulling in many different ways.
