@nyanide Happy to help; I don't know what's unclear about the man page but I also remember the man page being confusing when I were a lad. (And function pointers still have worse syntax in C than in any other language, I think.) Which man page is it?
Basically, you give it an array and a length and a function. The function takes two addresses and returns -1, 0, or 1.
@nyanide Nice, cool. Yeah, I remember it making not much sense to me until I learned assembly, and then I couldn't understand what was so confusing about it.

I can probably turn it off now, my account should have been updated on Mostr's side.
@p@nyanide I dont want to derail this thread but also didnt want to forget to point it out. Not sure if this is a poast thing or fse thing but many of your replies (at least from poast) seem to be mentioning a nostr address and I'm guessing they shouldnt be... This was also happening in the scraping thread which was bugging me because I just mute the mostr bridge and so I was losing that thread too. Pic shows its happening on both the soapbox and pleroma frontends in this thread and pic 3 was another unrelated thread I noticed it in.
I also made sure to remove the nostr address in this reply fwiw.
