   The main thing keeping me from using Chat GPT or even being excited about it, is that it’s closed source. It cannot be stated enough that this company called OPEN AI is producing proprietary software. After all the sci-fi horror films you think we’d learn from this?? P.S. Richard Stallman got his start in the MIT artificial intelligence lab.

     @alex @r000t With engineering effort it will be better. Remember, the first release of linux would be considered shit by modern OS standards, but everything ESR pointed out in Cathedral&Bazaar still applies.
