   @AT1ST @oblomov nah. that stuff is specific to the keyboard.
   One thing I'd try (if you can) is plugging it into a windows machine? Often that'll install the right drivers/tools, you can turn off the backlight, and then it'll save those settings forever, even for openbsd/linux/whatever.

   I've had a few keyboards like this.

     @AT1ST @oblomov you could also just open it up and figure out the PCB layout and find where to cut to disable the RGB LEDs permanently. That may be an overly "Foone" solution, though.
