   I am again reminded that linux remains out of the mainstream because its average user is incapable of understanding that digging around in wiki pages pasting random urls into your terminal is a bad user experience.
   
   I treat Fedora like I treat Vim: I swear by it but I don't recommend it to anybody but a select few.

     @RustyCrab that's what I said. Windows works for enthusiasts and people who just use computers to browse the internet. Most people don't even own a computer or a laptop. Everything is done through their phone, their TV has all their media slop on it. Average person really doesn't need a computer

     @creamqueen opposite actually. You need windows for enthusiast level gaming. You sometimes need Linux for enthusiast level work.

     @Nudhul @Hoss @RustyCrab @creamqueen installed windows 3 in a vm a while back and the icons are clear and crisp and understandable. the window bars and borders have anchors on them and are easy to grab the edges and move things around. windows 3 is hardly the best user interface but god damn graphic designers fucked everything up
