„Drink water from the spring where the horse drinks. A horse will never drink bad water.
Make your bed where the cat sleeps.
Eat the fruit that was touched by the worm.
Freely pick the mushrooms on which the insects sit.
Plant your tree where the mole digs.
Build your house where the snake suns itself.
Dig your well where the birds build their nests in hot weather.
Go to sleep and wake up with the chickens and you will reap the golden grain of the day.
Eat more green vegetables, and you will have strong legs and an enduring heart.
Swim more often and you will feel on land like a fish in the water.
Look at the skies more often and not at your feet, and your thoughts will be clear and light.
Keep silent more often, speak less, and silence will reign in your soul, and your spirit will be calm and peaceful.”

@apropos @MK2boogaloo Are you autistic

@WoodshopHandman @MK2boogaloo there's no way to respond to this without getting the "Are y'all with the cult?" meme.

@MK2boogaloo I don't really like the quote in the picture when taken literally, as a preference to believing in non-truths. But it also works as a defensive commitment: I am non-persuadable on this position, so neither a lawyer nor a demon can dislodge me from it, not even if my reason fails or is impaired.
Atheists can do the same thing, and declare that "even if I 'die' and 'go to hell and 'know' in my 'heart' that God is real, I will simply prefer to believe that super-advanced aliens are manipulating my consciousness to make it seem like things are this way."
