     It's not a matter of solely if it's easily killable, but also easily subvertable. It's very easy to subvert a single monolithic site, or the admin of a single monolithic website, or CEO of a corporation, and even if you have an admin who refuses to compromise what is going to happen if he dies? Who will replace him?
     
     It's far harder to subvert a bunch of websites, communicating with each other. This side of fedi thrives despite the efforts of people like Eugen. 4chan on the other hand has been subverted for years and years.
