     @mischievoustomato @prettygood anyone you see who defends the economic situation here is wealthy enough it doesnt matter to them. there are lots of things I love about the USA. the standard of living for like 50% of the country is third world, but 12 eggs cost 10 dollars

     @mischievoustomato @prettygood there is no county in the mainland USA where a single full time salary at minimum wage can afford a one bedroom apartment

     more money is great but when everything is 3-4x expensive it doesn't matter much
