     @lamp @neo @p not really, is somewhat sane all things considered, if he was to release the software on a pre-release state there would be people trying to run it, reporting every bug possible but putting a burden on him as there'd be nodes working with something that is not complete yet, it is better that he publishes once it is on a release state.

     it's currently "only pete has the code so there's no license"
     
     My understanding is that it will be licensed under a free software licence once it is ready to be made available.

     @EdBoatConnoisseur @neo @p Nobody said he should "release" the software, just make the code public. It doesn't matter what people do with it when it's clearly and explicitly unfinished and unreleased, it's entirely their problem.
     
     Why should I donate when I can't see what's being done? It may as well be a scam.
