     @larsbrinkhoff Marc MacDonald in Bellevue, WA. This was Microsoft's first PDP-10 which was acquired from First Data in Colorado. Prior to this development was done on borrowed time. Photos were done by John Marshall.

     @SDF @larsbrinkhoff “Borrowed” sounds shady. They rented time on the Albuquerque School District PDP-10, after (mis)using Bill’s student account on the Harvard PDP-10 for initial development of Altair BASIC.
