I just found out that there aren't exactly 52 weeks in a year. There are about 52.14.
And, like, of course there aren't? If there were, the days of the week would line up the same with the days of the month every year. Except that they'd change on leap years. (Which have about 52.29 weeks.)

@mogwai_poet 365 has exactly two factors, 5 and 73. So the solution is simple: a year of 5 weeks, each 73 days long

I'd just never thought it through it until now. Instead, I thought things like "it's too bad there aren't a nice integer number of weeks in a month, but at least there are in a year!"
What other things I know would fall apart as soon as I thought about them even for a moment?
