@theorytoe @get @VBurner you can argue the rule all you want, its fine for small instances to have loose rules but we hardline a lot of shit because we have so many users. that includes dox. poast users are entitled to a reasonable expectation of privacy, including having their shit posted at them as some kind of own by a limp dicked faggot

Yeah he was banning people for posting the photo of a users wife that became a minor fedi meme for a year or so (until he left said instance/the fedi).

It's funny watching KF staff and all dance around the dox part and saying it's not why they're being censored.
No dummy, the fact the site was hosting dox, which other angry autists offsite were using to harass others, was a massive liability and didn't help it in the court of online public opinion. And I mean, constantly doxing someone's entire family and posting nitty gritty details among other things. The whole reason Doxbin gets away with it is it's lower profile.
Why do you think sites like 4thwavenow or substacks that shit on troons can stay up? They're not doxing.

@VBurner @PhenomX6 @get @theorytoe I think a misconception here about defederating is that we are trying to prevent users from seeing it. while we are on the surface, the idea is to prevent it being fetched by poast and served by poast so when someone decides to report something to the FBI like they did to FSE the other day its not on us
