     @itsfoss my first experience was with mint, so pretty good except when I wanted to download something from mint's software center: confusing why a system package and a flatpak took such different amounts of storage for the same program and having some libraries and system components mixed around in there felt incredibly confusing

     other than that, using the system was as easy as windows, customizing the cinnamon desktop was very easy, downloading debs and appimages was easy too. No problems

     @itsfoss my 82 year old father in law uses fedora 40 on an old iMac. He finds it easier with dash to panel. With Automatic updates enabled he only has to click on the app and done.
