@Morghur @Clapp @WilhelmIII @s2208 @ACL9000 @JoshuaSlocum @Will2Power Morghur, are Spanish buses still totally crazy with people interacting a lot (good-naturedly)? I once took a bus from Barcelona to Malaga and there were people having regional debates about who invented what. One woman claimed that the Catalan invented opera and burst into song (and had an amazing voice, received much applause)
Guy I was sitting next to told me it happened all the time, but he and I were drinking, so I'm not sure if he was putting me on or my bad Spanish was the issue-

Dunno because i do local transport, not intercity or interregional transport. In a small town like this it's usually people going to a village in the middle of nowhere and the nearby hospital and the usual topics are market gossip, recent deaths, drug operations and how shitty work is.
I tend to block all talk from people and focus on driving. In part to pay more attention to the road but mainly because i'm pissed and they don't pay me to socialize
