     @p The thing heats up.
     
     but yeah I got a new power pack that's suited for it. Its a pretty slick device, it has an ethernet cable that you can just jack into a pi or whatnot or a router. they actually sell mesh routers that you can use.
     
     its small enough to slide into my backpack with a laptop no sweat.

     @p It pretty sensitive but once it locks on to satellite its pretty stable, you can afix it to a car or something and drive around with it.
     
     from what it looks like it draws about 50-70w from my battery pack
