   “This morning, two peacekeepers were injured after an IDF Merkava tank fired its weapon toward an observation tower at UNIFIL’s headquarters in Naqoura, directly hitting it and causing them to fall. The injuries are fortunately, this time, not serious, but they remain in hospital,” Unifil said in a statement.

     Hey, @EUCommission, last I checked Ireland was in the EU. Israel is firing on peacekeepers from an EU country.

     Any thoughts? Or is this cool?

     @aral @EUCommission Nah, it's cool. Germany already said they're gonna send more weapons, no need to worry about it

     @RadicalAnthro Of course not. Just not the kind of folks @EUCommission would care about unless they were at our borders and thus needed to be kept out.
