   My grandfather was full blooded Italian and taught my grandmother how to make all sorts of Italian dishes. They owned a restaurant out in Ascension Parish in the 70s and 80s. He died in 1982 so she couldn't run it by herself. She was a teacher at a beauty school.

     My German side comes from my Grandmother. Traced her back to Bavaria.
