     Yeah I’ve been trying to kill time on my phone at home but I can’t fully get into the relaxation mode when I could be give a new task at any moment.

     For the past two days I’ve forgotten to turn my alarm on and woke up just after 9:00 (when I’m supposed to start working) and I spent an hour in bed with my laptop on so my status says online.
     
     Tbh I start working after 10:00 on most days and still finish early, I really take the piss and still get everything done in time, I should really switch jobs after this year lole.

     bc I want to get paid more and I realised that nothing is really hard if you’re competent enough. I get dopamine hits like a junkie whenever I complete a ticket as well. Solving problems which involve computers is my thing so any of those jobs are cozy to me.

     @MMS21 @kroner I dunno man, I dunno what kind of work you do, what position, what salary and competence, but it sounds like IT, and IT in some other places can be heart wrenching nonstop storm of bullshit, and if just help desk, it can be all that plus being basically the company's little bitch. Unless you actually really like that, be careful what you wish for

     Pretty understandable, I have been pretty much forced to do non programming shit because we are going to migrate clients off a legacy system to a new system soon and it is boring AF.
     
     Luckily it looks like that will change pretty soon but work isn't exciting atm

     I’ve never found the actual work exciting. I’m looking forward to completing a task and not the actual task if that makes sense.
