     @supersid333 @hfaust :flan_x3: Nice reminder, I need to re-watch it again too. Always so rare to see an outstanding anime original. I felt a little worried about the series path once a little bit of suffering and violence was added into the mix, but was very glad that it didn't stick to that point and rather only used it as a tool for further storytelling and exploration of the main theme.

     @Iffine @hfaust Was a good story had an interesting story of an artist recovering his passion after a trauma took it from him. Altair is my favorite character, though I will admit that the reasoning has more to do with the circumstances of my life around the time I watched Re:Creators heh.

     @hfaust @Iffine It's a well written story that does a well enough job integrating it's narrative with it's theme. I personally thing it slogs a bit leading up to the finale, but it's clearly stuck with me considering Altair is my AVI.

     @supersid333 @hfaust :cirno_heh: Isn't every favorite character decided upon by your life and state of mind when taking in the media? Anything from the people who were just going through an edgy phase because it was the "cool" thing deciding Sephiroth was their favorite to those whose entire life resonates with a character and an instant connection is formed.
     Bullshit internet philosophy aside, the story really is full of passion and love for all sorts of stories and the people who create them. It's an exploration so rare to see that is often foregone for an easier direct statement about the viewer, cynical or overly self-congratulatory, when doing a narrative involving consuming or creating fiction. Wish more stories could aim for that kind of path.
