I heard "Carpenter decided to poke some fun at his friend and Stephen King decided it sounded funny and joined in" and I immediately downloaded a car. I liked it.

Well, I don't think "Haha, cheesy movie, I enjoy it ironically" is an opinion worth defending, so that's not what I'm saying. I saw that and thought "Ha, tons of suspense and then a transition to way too many things happening to care about any of them, and finally a stupid reveal. He really *did* become the Stephen King."-
