@nixCraft Nope. High disk usage (and bandwidth to download the large files) along with involuntary "automatic" updates are some of the worst features of Windows, why copy them?
It might work well where unlimited internet, 16GB/1TB laptops and regular power supply are the default, but not so much anywhere else.
Same issue with docker and flatpak, and the problem scales if you have multiple devices. Appimage is not so bad as you can decide where to store the files, and share/sync them as well.
