I don't think the job market can exist the way it currently does for another decade. The zoomers being subjected to this are going to be put into an early grave from the stress.
@Hoss@prettygood I regret leaving the STEM field sometimes but I'm starting to realize how smart I was for opting for blue collar shop work, I don't have to put up with sociopathic entrpreneurs or job coaches when I need a new job.
@PraxisOfEvil@Hoss I'm tempted daily to just walk out and go become the only electric car tech in my little town because I can't mcfucking take it anymore
DoxxedIn is unironically one of the worst things mankind has ever created. The very thought of having to interface with it at all makes me not want to find a new job.
@Hoss@prettygood That said there's no one-size-fits-all solution for the problem at hand, which is an industry thats collapsing in on itself because standards have dropped precipitously low and this issue is coupled with a domestic workforce that is completely checked out. Prepare for things to get shittier on an ever expanding timescale.
The glory days our parents or grandparents had is long gone. They could take courses at a CC and land a job in an exciting emerging field. No pajeets to fight over for crumbs, no faggot team building shit, reasonable hours. Everything is turning into on giant sweatshop but with a nicer label slapped on it.
@Hoss@prettygood If you have the skills to start a new business or get into a fledgling market in a high demand field by all means do it, grinding it out for the big corpos puts too many miles on the soul
