So can the Jews blow up the LI battery in my iPhone? Or were those pagers tampered with to include explosives?
-
@Ghislaine they put bombs in them, batteries had nothing to do with it despite what people are saying

@weaf @Ghislaine the battery thing is total nonsense and much harder than just putting an igniter circuit in there too

@weaf @Ghislaine it's likely that a pager has no power management in the first place, since they're designed to run at low currents for months at a time. don't need power management for that, just an ADC for the battery meter
and even if it did, there's no way for the pager to draw a lot of current to heat the battery up. why would there be? they're low power devices, not a laptop or smartphone that can draw a lot of current by just running the CPU at 100% load
so then maybe they could introduce a short circuit that gets activated by sending the right message. a bodge wire to an ASIC pin or whatever. but an alkaline battery doesn't get that hot when you short it, because the internal resistance rises as it heats up. it doesn't get anywhere near hot enough to detonate PETN
anything else they do lands under "electronic igniter" and the *smartest* way to do it would've been to just use a timer, but I can see other ways to do it. why fuck around trying to reverse engineer pager ASICs when you can have a mossad intern slap together an igniter in 5 minutes from $0.20 in parts that will work in any pager?
