   I've gotten to the point in my life where I don't want to do anything anymore. I don't want to work. I don't want to contribute to this society I don't want to be a part of it in any way. I've been working for 25 years and it's all a fucking joke waste of time. Anyone else feel this way? Or have I become such a misanthrope I should just go out to the woods and fuck off?

     Not just for that, but I was looking at getting some basic lab glassware since my son has taken a light interest in chemistry

     Yes, many others feel this way.
     
     The only reason I enjoyed working was because of brotherhood. If you can't escape this feeling, maybe you are able to move close to another brother, and try to work together instead of alone.
     
     I find though, many can't seem to handle it. Between moving, and putting themselves in a situation where "no matter what, we are going to make it work" - brotherhood as in acting like real brothers - is too much.
     
     Same reason why marriage is hard for many people - the thought of "no matter what, we are going to make it work" doesn't seem to remain the foundational sentiment.

     @tyler @d0c40r0 @Mustard88 @MeBigbrain Get him into smelting, I think it's a better bet. Teaches intense safety, and you melt down your beer cans into ingots. Much more sticky than fiddling around w/ food dyes and making fizzy water

     We actually made 8 ingots yesterday, already into smelting and casting.
     
     We have some batteries that need to be recycled but we were already running the furnace for 4 hours yesterday and we're done.
     
     He thought that you can make your own bullets was really cool.
