     @DrBtc @wgiwf Maybe it's not uniformity of appearance but uniformity of thought, all these girls have the same style i.e. a septum piercing and a dyke haircut but you immediately know her thoughts about abortion and transgenderism

     @DrBtc @wgiwf I can't say for sure but I get the sense that there's not really "cliques" anymore like jock/nerd/goth etc, everything seems to have coalesced into this formless mass identity where people are too scared to express any individuality or go against the grain because they're too scared what others might think

     There was a goth chick about 19 working at the store today, it's getting a lot more rare to see these identities. The prog mentally ill chick's are the most common, there's a few minor variations of them.

     We called it being emo in 2005 but it made us feel better going to a show or hanging out with friends. We had our issues to but i get it that shit sucks more now. A lot of the cure was saying fuck it and doing some stuff with friends where you forget about it for awhile. Nothing really matters out in world when you are drinking some beers in a backyard patio around the fire.

     @DrBtc I can't blame Zoomers for being lonely when they've been handed a low trust culture that valorizes mental illness, they can't even remember what life was like before 9/11

     @PraxisOfEvil @DrBtc Create a society that has no sense of communal values at all. Give the children drugs to "treat" their depression, raise them in a broken home and give them porn and tell them the only thing that matters is freedom and finding yourself. After doing all this wonder why the zoomers are lonely and insane.

     They're just total faggots all around who aren't going out with friends and doing anything fun. I couldn't stand the thought of being home alone back then and was always trying to get to a function. More proof of how bad things really are, its a rite of passage every generation has enjoyed.

     @DrBtc @wgiwf With women it's more obvious but with dudes it's kind of hard to discern, yeah some guys give off clues (painted nails, tattooos, craft beer) but some guys I assumed were regular dudebros have extremely gay politics

     That's what I mean, progs definitely have a style about them and way too many bright tattoos. You see the signs and just know it's best to avoid. Kind of funny how appearance can give a lot of clues about a person.
