   Really loved going to college orientation and seeing stuff like this which can basically be simplified to “whatever she feels unfavorably towards is abuse”

   When you read this as a sane person you think it’s all pretty above board, until you realize telling her “honey, maybe you’ve had enough, you’re getting drunk at a family event”, or “hey maybe wear this to the funeral, it’s more appropriate” is now abuse

   One of my faves was being told that not letting a GF just “go out” with an ex for a date was “controlling” and a “major red flag”.

     Tell her that she’s being a bad mother? Tell her she’s a failure? Have you “undermined” her? Have you “enforced a routine”? Have you told her that her reactions are irrational, or have you behaved unpredictably?

     Well guess what, bucko! You should be in jail you abusive monster.

     What’s that work in law? “Overbroad”?
