      @Royper @GabeLakmann @qwerty MG receiver kits were kinda cheap, for a time. Like $700 for the cut up stuff, maybe $250 for a flat, IIRC

      I can't tell if it's real or a replica because it has what appears to be a primary arms red dot and a $1,500 SureFire HellFire light and I've never seen that type of light/laser module thing on it.

      Yeah, I remember seeing those kits in some of the magazines. Back then there weren't as many good gunsmiths to put that stuff together.

      Either way they're kinda neat but I like the AR-180 better, not that I've used one. The Brownells kits are kinda neat but don't look close enough to the old ones for me to want to spend the money and time on it.

        The ArmaLite AR-18 is a gas-operated assault rifle chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition.       @GabeLakmann @Royper @qwerty The beretta, was getting it mixed with the -180 since the kits for them look….surprisingly similar when they’re all chopped up. Someone imported a bunch of them not long ago

      This dude had to CAST a new stock. Yeah……very cool but that kind of thing is best left to those in retirement
