@Rasterman They used to be a big studio that made some groundbreaking games back in the day. Of course there was the first Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Beyond Good and Evil, Far Cry, Prince of Persia, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, etc. Tons of good games that they then made some pretty good sequels of, but gradually the sequels became formulaic, so Ubisoft decided to jump on the RPG and basically turned all their games into games with RPG systems like levels and leveled weapons and shiet, real MMO type stuff, but that doesn't work well in a game like Assassin's Creed where you are theoretically supposed to stealth kill enemies, but if they are a higher level then you you simply can't kill them with the stealth kill that used to be a one shot in the previous games.
I wouldn't say they new games are bad, they just aren't real good like they used to be. Their game design has become cookie cutter and I am sure they are filled with DEI hires to the point where the quality of their games has gone down thanks to it. Also their pricing practices are absolutely disgusting and their CEO is a piece of shit that honestly hates gamers I think.
