     @lucy It is dumb. The whole concept of Nostr is extremely flawed. Especially when it comes to moderation which basically does not exist. You can't censor anyone, because they can just fuck off to another relay and you can't also ban someone for posting CSAM which is also a big problem on Nostr.
     
     Overall it's a moderation nightmare for fedi instances.

     @lucy The username itself is either it's Nostr public key or some kind of a stupid hash made from something. Nostr has no concept of vanity usernames for Fedi relays.

     @meso@the.asbestos.cafe @phnt@fluffytail.org @lucy@netzsphaere.xyz nostr is a fantastic idea imo, but they gotta figure out the name thing. Also the Twitter clones that use it all suck, they need to make more apps like a YouTube alternative that connects to your id as well. The idea of having one account for everything is cool I think. But not being implemented very well.

     @phnt @lucy nostr is like if a bunch of faux autist twitter users pretended their thing is good because of technical specs even though you cant even have usernames and it looks like a crippled social media more than anything
