     @dictatordave I don't know if I'd totally trust what a CIA person says publicly, but it is questionable if many modern devices that don't have removable batteries may able to actually be turned off. A faraday bag probably will do what you need, though.

     we've known for years that you can be tracked, so why do people continue to take the devices? its crazy to me
     
     there was a cia guy talking about how they dont even need the device to be powered on anymore to use sonic mapping to see the room and obviously they can listen to you

     although today you can just be back tracked with shit like clearview so they can figure out who you are without any tracker on you at all, makes you wonder why they dont catch that dc pipe bomber lol
